WinZip Courier supports sharing large files via email. In this regard, this utility bypasses the size limits of your email server by uploading the files to the cloud and sending the recipient a link instead of an attachment. Moreover, in order to reduce their size, the tool can automatically compress those files using two commonly used archive formats: Zip and ZipX. Images, in turn, receive a special treatment, as they are simply downsized.

The utility cannot work independently; what it does is integrating into your Outlook email client and other Microsoft Office applications. Besides, it’s also compatible with some webmail clients, such as Gmail, Yahoo! and Hotmail, to which it adds other file-attaching options. WinZip Courier lets you set a limit to the attachment size, which means that, if the file is bigger than that, the program will automatically store it on a cloud service, selected from a list that includes ZipShare, Box, CloudMe, Dropbox, Google Drive, MediaFire, OneDrive and SugarSync. As additional options, you can have the document converted to PDF and even encrypted to preserve your privacy.

In general, WinZip Courier is a great option when it comes to sharing large amounts of data as it relieves you from worrying about the size of your messages and the possibility of their being rejected by the recipient email server. It also ensures your privacy by using strong encryption algorithms and password protection. Unfortunately, the program doesn’t support any email clients other than Outlook. Besides, some webmail services already support storing attachments on the cloud.
